Tom Clancy Rainbow Six Siege

If you have read Tom Clancy Novels you will easily know that the stories are mostly related to war stuff, like spies, commandos, soldiers and military stuff. Imagine now that you are playing one of the most famous games of all time, which is Counter-Strike, with its team tactics element and weapons use, and then adding up the elements of Tom Clancy`s universe in it? The result that you will get is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. This is one game that will really change the world of tactics gaming with its new and innovative gameplay and the way you will be able to experience what it is to be the good guy or the bad guy.

Ubisoft Announced the release of this game last year and expectations run high. But when you see the trailers of its gameplay, you will immediately know why there is such a hype for it. It is not your usual terrorist-counterterrorist game where you simply kill each other for the win. This time, there is the element of tactics, and I mean real tactics, in order for you to win over your opponent’s team. You will never succeed with brute force alone, and to understand more, see the reason below:

Gameplay:

As mentioned, it works like Counter Strike, in the sense that you will be battling it out with teams, being the SWAT or the good guys, and then there are also the bad guys, or terrorists if you want to call them that. But the main difference this time is that the maps can be altered. But don’t be confused, you don’t literally change the map overall, it is just like modifications to help you achieve your goal, and let us explain why.

If you happen to be on the bad guys side, you have your hostages, and the goal is to keep them hidden and wipe out the opposing SWAT when they come in to rescue the hostages. How do you hide them? You create diversions, you barricade the place, and you can do a lot of things in the location where you need to hide the hostages. And of course, this involves a lot of thinking and strategy like where to place your snipers and how to set up a trap for the place. But of course, tactics also change depending on how the SWAT will decide to enter the location too.

If you happen to be on the SWAT team, then of course, you send in drones to scout out the location, and then base your attack tactics on that. You can blow up walls and send in thousands of flashbangs, or you can opt for stealth to try to take out the bad guys. But of course, you never know what the other team is thinking, so you can never really say whether your plan will work or fail. You have to adjust to the situation at hand each time if you want to succeed well.

As you can see, the game really has the element of team tactics. It is no fun to be playing this game alone, and that is why you need a lot of players in case, or you have a team ready at hand each time you play the game. But the fun part of it is that you really have to work both your in game skills, and you also think a lot about tactics. You are able to utilize your mind and body so much that in a way, it is almost so serious, yet fun because it is a game.

Though there is no definite release date yet being announced by Ubisoft, expect this game to be in the shelves before 2015 hits the calendars. And given the hype about it, you can be sure that people will really line up to buy this game. With all the elements of a war and tactics game, it will easily take back the crowd that used to play Counter Strike, and make them players of this strategy game. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is expected to bring out the best in first person team game shooters, and this is not an assumption, but a real truth, and you will see as to why when you finally play the game.
